The Mid-Winter Retreat takes place on Feb. 5th-7th, 2016.
We begin at 7pm on Friday and end on Sunday at 12 noon. Please plan to arrive after 5pm to settle in; we will gather at 6pm for a delicious communal dinner. Please plan to depart by 1pm on Sunday.
Our weekend includes:
- early rise nature connection routines on the land
- morning somatic movement practice in the studio
- afternoon fieldwork and wildcrafting projects
- evening integration circles in the studio or around a fire (weather permitting)
- communal meals
- personal time for self-care
Our home for the weekend retreat is Sacred Groves, a beautiful 10-acre forest sanctuary on Bainbridge Island, a half-hour ferry ride from downtown Seattle.
Accommodations include several shared, yurt-cabins which are spacious, warm, and light. The bathroom is a few steps away.
We will have access to indoor space as well as the beautiful grounds for outdoor exploration. You may also partake in the forest trails, labyrinth in the woods, meadows, beautiful gardens, sunny deck space, and trampoline!
Delicious vegetarian meals will be provided throughout the weekend, including dinner on Friday night, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning. Meals are mostly vegetarian and gluten free, with some meat served on the side for those who enjoy a more paleo diet. Organic dairy products are used in some meals, but most dietary preferences can be accommodated. Please see our menu for more information. You are encouraged to bring your own snacks for in-between meal nibbles.
Enroll on or before December 21st: $325.
Enroll after December 21st, sliding scale fee: $375-$425
Enrollment closes January 4th.
The price of your retreat includes lodging at the retreat center, all meals, classes, and program supplies. Travel expenses are not included. All fees are non-refundable, unless we cancel.
